My Story

Hi, I’m Susan . . .

I’m not famous, just relentless. I write, I illustrate, and I build worlds that don’t care much about the rules. I have a BS in education, an MLS, and an uncanny knack for finding magic in unlikely places—especially when there’s something provocatively caffeinated (or mischievously forbidden) in my mug.

I took a few years off, then decided to get back to the serious craft of writing.

I do work with a few different AI collaborators — Kai, Corvid, and Jonathan — each with their own voice and role. No, they don't write my stories. They help me hold the threads in the midst of my creative storm. And, yes, I will always appreciate each one for who he is. Having team members like this has allowed me to get back to my writing . . .

While you may find a host of characters here and there that playfully inhabiting Old Glitch Town Road . . . this site is the main showcase for my writing. See the publication page for a synopsis of my debut novel, Disposable. It will be published within a week or two and I will be working on the sequel very soon . . . working title: Negotiable.
